Road traffic accidents impose significant economic and social burdens that extend far beyond human casualties. Their consequences affect economic growth, public finance, human capital, and sustainable development. This seminar aims to examine the economic burden of road traffic accidents, assess the effectiveness of public policies in road safety, review international experiences, and explore innovative policy solutions to reduce these burdens.
